this autumn i find this fantastic yet very traditional pattern extremely hot. who would not love the pied de coq? although black'n'white is my favorite i still find other colors very delicious too.

so strange that my own stuff is influenced by the fab pattern? here you have some pics of my designs, more coming soon.

love the cushions

i don't think i have to explain how much i love these cushions by thomas paul! i wish i could find this stuff somewhere close to my hoods.

now, my long flight from the paradise is over and i'm back in paris to meet a friend who i haven't seen in 11 years! last time we met we spent a summer in paris and on corsica, travelling around and partying. now, 11 years later i'm so excited to meet her family of one husband and two kids. lovely! we'll have a coffee along the champs-elysees and chat a long time before i continue back to stockholm. oh, and i might have to visit some shops too...

today, first day of my vacation, and i headed to a farmers' market in the little village, st-paul.

one happy girl. i spotted an interior design shop when driving along the coast. so, now a dip into the ocean, then you-know-where!

dreamy french village in the indian ocean

i know i've been helplessly bragging about my current location for work, but oh man there's down sides to everything. damned i wish i had my lovely mademoiselles with me! i'd love some company here. i even brought my jogging shoes with me, hoping to keep up with my ass lifting project but... OK, here's the thing: in the mornings { perfect time for work out along the beach front } i have to go up so early, get some croissants { delicious, but bad for the butt } and coffee just to manage to go to work at 7.30.

at nights it's so dark already at 19 { i finish working with customers around 20 if i'm lucky, just in time to go back to the hotel for some more work } so there's no way i would run a step. everything is closed in this sweet little village, all the time! so my nights are spent in bed with some more french gourmandises.

but, i found one nice bar for the best mojitos ever. hooray!

fortunately i love travelling alone too, tomorrow is the last day of work, then to the exotic location on the west coast...

tonight, after a long day at the office, i'm feasting with blue cheese, chocolat de la reunion, whole grain cookies, red wine and spicy chorizo. i might need to train just a little harder when back in stockholm...

in about couple of hours i'm stepping into an airplane which will take me away from paris. YES, i'm in paris! i'm excited, i love paris, but i must move on now... { paris has although one big minus. the CDG airport. hello, who designed the ugliest, coldest, non-coziest, not internet connected, no lounge'n'wine combo, not-a-single-fun-thing-in-here airport disaster? i need to check in, maybe i find some stylish lounge hangouts on the other side...}
