coolest hotel in hell {sinki}

This I must share with you. I am in Finland and, as usual I am looking for trends, design, cool photos, ideas, inspiration and more fun. People here {atleast my friends} are so creative! This hotel just needs to be notified. Finnish raw, retro, sarcastic, super cool, and the hotel has only one {ONE} room. They even have their own wallpaper! See press release...

Hotel Room is offering a new way of travelling and housing for those who are sick
and tired of those downtown hotels, made of plastic and fire safety protocols. A stay
at Hotel Room is first and foremost the choice of intelligent and intuitive people who
seek freedom, individuality and space instead of a reception, room service or generic
leaflets accompanied by the complimentary hotel pencil. Hotel Room’s purpose of
existence is to cater travelers who seek for an authentic experience – something much
more than the typical sight seeing bus ride around the city and them dreary seen-oneseen-
all hotels.

He he, vad säger ni?
So, what do you think?

Helsinki Vintage and Pretty Pretty Stuff

Underbart!

I was in Finland last weekend and came across a small booklet of the Finnish capital's best vintage shops and other wonderful candy places. I have to save the list somewhere so that I will not forget it. Really should do exactly the same thing for all the world's cities, because sooner or later I will still visit them ... ;)

Here comes one of my new favorites in Helsinki (check and book travel to HKI):
The Greendress - must begin by Promote this store. An old high school acquaintance of mine opened the shop with his colleague and it is so fine. The Green Dress sells designs from previous seasons (I hugged tenderly a Marc J bag in purple skin ... ) They also own collection of vintage style and you can also bring an old dress and it can be re-designed. Wonderful!

helsinki rules

I've got two new babies! These sweet beautiful things wanted to follow me home from the Arlanda Airport today...
Prada perfume and body lotion.

Chloé. I don't think I have any bigger love than this perfume at the moment.

I'm back in Helsinki again, this time for business. Tomorrow is going to be a long day of talking and hosting a conference for our finnish customers, so this night I've just been enjoying my parents' company. Mum took me to nice Mexican restaurant for dinner, and shopping of course!

While I was screening the latest shoe stores I also payed a visit to a large chain store called Anttila, and escpecially one called Kodin1. This chain has a reputation of being boring and low quality, but as I love making cheap and cool findings, I always go in and have a look. These nice things I found...

This sweet Bugatti espresso machine would be perfect company for my pink toaster.

These pillows would suit my white sofa.
I love gold so this pillow would be perfect in my living room area.
This drawer is just sweet!
I think my bed would like very cosy in this clothing. Very romantic and nice colours.

These chair I like very much. They are definitely copies of design chairs such as Arne Jacobsen's but still lovely.

Here, Sputnik. Do I like it or not..? Actually I do, it's really cool and so bright.

[Kodin1]
Nice textiles. So, not bad at all! I could buy a lot of those cheap and chic stuff. Maybe tomorrow... On the other hand, the day after tomorrow I will be heading to London, and THERE will be nice stuff. Everywhere. Ouch.
